German producer Edwin Rosen returns with his latest single, ‘Verschwende Deine Zeit’. The new track follows on from the success of the hit single, ‘Leichter//kälter’, released back in January which now sits at well over 3 million streams on Spotify alone! Once a relatively unknown bedroom producer, Edwin Rosen is now quickly rising up the ranks and earning a name for himself as a well-respected newcomer producer in the dance and electronic music scene.
Known for his modern-day reimaginings of new wave/post-punk, which sprung out of West Germany back in the 80s, Rosen’s latest track remains true to his ‘Neueneue Deutsche Welle’ sensibilities whilst injecting some heavier rock and electronic influences into the mix. Filled with shimmering synth lines, up-tempo 80s beats and Rosen’s signature, reverberating vocals, ‘Verschwende Deine Zeit’ is yet another pioneering masterpiece by the young producer and recent IRRSINN signee, who is proving himself to be one to watch for the coming year.
