Thomas Tuchel would hold his pre-Plymouth press conference on Friday afternoon.
The German would discuss a number of topics in the press conference, including Chelsea team news.
And it is not great news for Chelsea, with Reece James, along with long-term absentee Ben Chilwell, still out of action alongside Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
Apart from said trio, Tuchel confirmed everyone else was in training ahead of Plymouth except Thiago Silva and Christian Pulisic: “We don’t have Reece James or Ben Chilwell, unfortunately.
“Not Ruben, he is still injured. Everyone else was in training except Pulisic and Thiago Silva. Everyone else was there.”

On Reece James specifically, Tuchel added that the full-back is not yet in team training and will not travel with the Blues to the Club World Cup: “He is not in team training yet, so maybe that answers the question.
“After a couple of weeks, he will need some time in team training to get the confidence back. He does not travel with us to the Club World Cup.”
This means Chelsea will continue to be without their two main wing-backs for at least two more games and potential longer, which is a big blow for the Londoners given how important James and Chilwell have been to Chelsea’s success of late.
