Premier League giants Chelsea have this evening confirmed that Hakim Ziyech has agreed personal terms with the club, and will officially make the move to London in the summer.
Ziyech incoming
In something of a bolt-from-the-blue last week, widespread reports began to emerge that Chelsea were on the verge of clinching a deal for gifted Ajax creator Ziyech.
The Blues were rumoured to have struck an agreement which would see the Moroccan make the move to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, for a fee in the region of €40 million.
And, on the back of an anxious wait for fans of the London giants, confirmation of Ziyech’s imminent arrival was eventually confirmed across the club’s social media platforms last Thursday:

Chelsea terms agreed
One crucial detail which remained to be ironed out before Chelsea could make Ziyech’s signing official, however, were the personal terms of a contract.
The Blues struck a deal with Ajax, but had yet to actually find a full agreement with the player himself.
As outlined above, though, such an agreement has this evening been forthcoming.
In an announcement on their official website, Chelsea have confirmed that Ziyech has put pen-to-paper on a 5-year deal with the club.
As such, the Moroccan’s summer transfer to Stamford Bridge is now official.
Speaking on the back of the news being confirmed, Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia had the following to say:
‘We are delighted Hakim will be joining us in the summer, having been a key target of the club’s in this last window. He has consistently been one of the most dangerous attacking players in Europe in recent years, which we saw first-hand in our two games against Ajax in the Champions League.’
‘We wish Hakim and Ajax all the best for the rest of the season and look forward to welcoming him to Stamford Bridge in the summer.’
