A fresh insight into the mounting troubles at Premier League outfit Manchester United has been forthcoming on Monday.
Salah leads rout
The situation on the red half of Manchester has of course taken the headlines across Europe over the last 24 hours.
This comes on the back of a defeat at the hands of arch rivals Liverpool, which will no doubt live long in the memory of supporters of both clubs.
Despite having been aware that a positive result was a must ahead of kick-off, on the back of just a solitary point secured from an available nine in the English top-flight, the Red Devils crumbled in the most spectacular fashion imaginable on Sunday evening.
A Mohamed Salah hat-trick, alongside further strikes on the part of Naby Keita and Diogo Jota, saw Liverpool depart Old Trafford on the right side of a head-turning 5-0 scoreline.

CR7 growing frustrated
In turn, it should come as little surprise to hear that the backlash at United has since been as swift as it has ruthless.
So recently viewed as a lock to stay put for the foreseeable future, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s position on the bench at the Theatre of Dreams has now been thrown completely up in the air, amid suggestions that the Red Devils board are taking into ‘serious consideration’ the Norwegian’s sacking.

If the latest word stemming from the media on Monday evening is anything to go by, though, then the concerns in Manchester appear to run far deeper than simply the situation on the club’s bench.
Earlier today, it was reported that a ‘lack of understanding’ between Cristiano Ronaldo and Mason Greenwood on the pitch was resulting in mounting levels of frustration on the part of the former.
And, concerningly from a Red Devils perspective, such claims have since been backed on Monday night.
As per a report from the reliable James Ducker of The Telegraph, amid an in-depth look into the problems in the dressing room at Old Trafford, Ronaldo has gotten to the point of ‘exasperation’ when it comes to Greenwood.
Further issues covered in the report include Eric Bailly calling into question Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s use of a less-than-fit Harry Maguire versus Leicester City, and fresh inquests into the lack of game-time being afforded to Donny van de Beek:
