Like the other days, Saturday was also sold out, and the venue was quite full from the first band, Der Weg Einer Freiheit startet at four thirty, and packed when Gaahls Wyrd and Taake were on stage later on. It was actually more people for the headliners Dimmu Borgir and Hypocrisy the other nights than for Bloodbath, but maybe some of the fans experienced a bit of fatigue after three full days of music and partying?

There are many things I like about this festival. The music is the most important part, but the fans is an equal important reason for me to go there every year. This year has been my eight Inferno, and I am already planning for next year. The fans come from all around the world, with about half of them Norwegian, the rest from other places. And they span a wide variety of people, from all kinds of backgrounds and professions. Also a wider range of age than most other festivals I visit, maybe more the same ages as the fans at the blues festivals.
