Tottenham fans to stage ‘Levy & ENIC Out’ flyby stunt
A group of Spurs fans have paid for a banner to be flown over the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday during the north London derby against Arsenal.
The banner will reportedly read ‘#ENICAndLevyOutNow’, in a reference to the club’s chairman Daniel Levy and the owners of Spurs, ENIC.
What’s more, this is expected to be the first protest from disgruntled Spurs fans. The Telegraph have reported:
(Tottenham) supporters (have) hired a plane to fly over the club’s stadium during the north London derby against Arsenal with a banner that reads “#ENICAndLevyOutNow”.
The group behind Sunday’s planned fly-past, which has cost £650, are promising there will be more protests against Levy and the club’s owners, Enic, if they do not see progress on the pitch.

Why are Spurs fans upset?
Where to start…
After recently losing the Champions League final to Liverpool, Tottenham are on the cusp of missing out on European football altogether in 2020-21.
Tottenham’s descent in the Premier League has also coincided with major changes on and off the pitch.
The much-loved Mauricio Pochettino has left, and Jose Mourinho is yet to convince anyone that he’s capable of getting the club back on track.
Mourinho’s troubles at Spurs have been magnified by continuous reports of his problems with Tanguy Ndombele.
Elaborating on the angst of some Tottenham fans, a spokesman for the group who have planned today’s flyby stunt, expressed his issues to the Telegraph:
(We’ve gone from) being ahead of Arsenal, to being behind a club who have had three managers in one season, in possibly their worst season.
Levy and Enic need to invest in the club and have us challenging for honours.
Hopefully, this brings attention to the club and maybe makes them think. We will continue with further protests, banners and actions if the club do not respond in a positive manner.
Tottenham vs Arsenal: the race for European football
Tottenham’s European hopes hang by a thread as they head into the derby against Arsenal.
Spurs, after an awful performance against Bournemouth, are 10th in the league and 5 points behind Sheffield United in 6th.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are 8th in the table on 50 points.
Social media on the Tottenham flyby stunt
If you don’t like the idea of a banner being flown then that’s not a problem, everyone has an opinion
The problem is a lot of fans do a lot of talking but rarely do anything
I bet a lot of the fans who are unhappy will still buy a season ticket
Start hitting them in the pocket

The plane with the Levy OUT banner will be flying over the stadium on Sunday, this may seem nothing to some fans but it’s a start.
The board need to start seeing direct messages about how unhappy fans are.
The current situation is an absolute disgrace.

Can totally understand the frustration towards the owners, but honestly feel on top of everything else that has happened to the club this season, we are going to look like absolute laughing stocks again.
