Word stemming from the media on Monday night suggests that the Antonio Conte to Tottenham saga has reached its conclusion.
Nuno out/Conte in
Speculation hinting at the potential arrival of serial winner Conte in north London has of course proven rampant over the day to date.
This comes with Daniel Levy and co. having pulled the trigger on the dismissal of Nuno Espirito Santo, just four months on from hiring the Portuguese.
On the back of a harrowing 3-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester United over the weekend, the decision was made that Nuno no longer represented the right man to lead the club forward, culminating in his sacking being made official early on Monday morning:

Rumours surrounding the battle to replace the ex-Wolves boss in the English capital, though, have since proven scarce.
This comes with the first-choice of those in a position of power at Spurs having long been common knowledge.
The tactician in question? Antonio Conte.
Reports over the last 24 hours have widely pointed towards the former Chelsea and Juventus boss being installed on the bench at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, in a potentially major coup for the Lilywhites.
Done deal
And, as outlined above, late on Monday night, precisely that has been confirmed.
After Sky Italia pointed towards a deal inching closer between the two parties, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has announced that a ‘verbal agreement’ has indeed been struck, with Conte set to put pen to paper on terms with Tottenham on Tuesday:
Antonio Conte to Tottenham, confirmed and here we go. The contract until June 2023 will be signed on Tuesday. The verbal agreement is now completed. He’s back in the Premier League. ⚪️🇮🇹 #THFC
