Nottingham Forest fans are in awe of Brice Samba after the shot-stopper won the club’s Player of the Month for Septemeber. The award caps off a remarkable start to life in East Midlands for the 25-year-old, after he signed from Caen this summer.
The keeper has kept a total of four clean sheets in seven appearances for the Reds and after taking the number one spot off of Aro Muric, he has established himself as one of the Championship’s best so far this season. As per WhoScored, the former Marseille man has made 28 saves within these seven games, averaging out to four saves per match.
Not only is it the fans who can’t get enough of Samba, it’s the players themselves as well who are a big admirer of his.

Reds star Matthew Cash recently told Nottinghamshire Live: “He’s the best goalkeeper I’ve played with. His distribution is ridiculous.
“His shot stopping is excellent. He’s a fantastic goalie. He’s a big, big signing for the club. He’s a legend, a proper funny guy and a great character. He’s a great pro who does everything right on and off the pitch.”
Prior to the international break, the 25-year-old kept a clean sheet in the 1-0 win against Brentford at The City Ground.
And here’s what the fans have had to say about their new hero…
Breeds confidence throughout the team & quite possibly the best signing this season, Guaranteed to save us an extra 15+pts this season, ?
