Following on from Guy Pratt’s excellent Lockdown Licks, and Guy and Gary Kemp’s essential Rockonteur’s podcasts (the first episode of which featured Nick Mason, and subsequent episodes each have other notables from the world of music), their fellow Saucerful Of Secrets bandmate, guitarist Lee Harris, has recently started his own. Lee asked for suggestions on his Facebook page for songs that he could “play and chat about from Live At The Roundhouse”, and from those he had, the decision was made to start Live At Lee’s with the first song in the set list, Interstellar Overdrive. The second video has just been released, and is the song which inspired the name of the band: A Saucerful Of Secrets. More videos are promised in due course and you can find them on Lee’s official Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/lee.harris.official) and Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/mrleeharris) pages. Here’s episode 2: A Saucerful Of Secrets:

New interview podcast with Guy Pratt re: Pink Floyd, The Saucers, and more
With the current lack of live activity, musicians are tending to turn their efforts to other ways to flex their artistic muscles and stave off boredom, and amongst these efforts tend to be interviews – something they don’t necessarily have time (or energy) for normally. Long time BD visitor Russ Robinson runs the Infectious Groove music podcast, and recently interviewed Guy Pratt. Guy talks about Pink Floyd, Nick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets, and much more in a relaxed and interesting 30 minutes or so, which comes just after the halfway point of the episode in question (https://www.infectiousgroovepodcast.com/one-of-these-days-w-guy-pratt/) – which you can also play directly below.
