Having been the club’s U23s boss, Freddie Ljungberg perhaps more than most knows the quality that Arsenal’s young stars have.
And having been named as the club’s interim head coach following the sacking of Unai Emery on Friday morning, the Swede will no doubt be looking to stamp his authority on life at the Emirates.
His experience with the academy will surely be encouraging news for the likes of Reiss Nelson and Bukayo Saka, amongst others, and Arsenal fans on Twitter think another prodigy could stand to benefit a lot too.
Scorer of a stunning long-range strike against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup earlier this season, Joe Willock has become a prominent member of the first-team, making 17 appearances across all competitions.
And with Ljungberg now stepping up to take over from Emery at least for now, many Gunners fans have suggested the Invincibles hero could unleash the 20-year-old prospect.

Willock was outstanding for U23s under Ljungberg last season, he could be the one who benefits most from this. Hopefully some other youngsters will get chances too. He rates Burton highly.
