REPORTS | Emiliano Boffelli closes in on move to Premiership


It’s been reported that Emiliano Boffelli could make a move to the Gallagher Premiership after talks with Racing 92 broke down.

According to reports in England and France, the 25-year-old is now in talks with Bath over a move to the west country.

The 25-cap Argentina international, who can operate as a centre, wing or fullback, has emerged as the black, blue and whites new top target.. 

Boffelli was named in the Jaguares squad for their first ever Super Rugby campaign in 2016 and has since made 29 appearances, scoring 79 points.

He could become the ninth Puma to make a move to the Gallagher Premiership ahead of next season. 

The others are: Tomás Lavanini, Matías Moroni, Facundo Gigena (Leicester), Martín Landajo, Santiago García Botta (Harlequins), Matías Orlando (Newcastle), Matías Alemanno (Gloucester) and Facundo Cordero (Exeter). 

Juan Figallo and Juan Pablo Socino will also be playing for Saracens in the Championship next term.
