Tottenham’s decision to re-sign Michel Vorm has sparked an outpour of cries from fans wanting Fernando Llorente to return.
The Spanish striker was a somewhat divisive figure in his two-year spell in north London so it could be a case of absence making the heart grow fonder, though Spurs are also short of striker options.

Llorente scored 13 goals in 16 appearances for the club but had crucial impacts in Europe against both Manchester City and Ajax, with a goal against the former and coming on at half-time against the latter to turn the game around and help his side through to the Champions League final, so he has certainly left a mark on the club.
As a result, it is not surprising to see the love shown towards him nor the calls for him to be signed once more. Their transfer hopes may also be motivated by the fact he has three goals and one assist for Napoli despite only starting twice this season, with Spurs by comparison struggling.
Not many fans seem too bothered about Vorm’s return, with the attention instead on Llorente, as the following reactions show.
