Official highlights of Arsenal’s 3-2 loss at home against Brentford on Wednesday, June 10

Official highlights: Arsenal’s 3-2 loss at home against Brentford

Arsenal were back in action on Wednesday as the Gunners gear up for the return of the Premier League on June 17.

However, it was an unhappy day back at work for Arsenal, as they lost 3-2 at home against Championship side Brentford.

Arsenal started the game brightly. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had an early shot on target, before Joe Willock curled home the opener.

Brentford levelled in the second half. After David Luiz lost possession while trying to sombrero opponents, the Bees launched a swift attack which ended with a fizzer from Tarique Fosu into the roof of the net.

The Gunners hit back quickly through French striker Alexandre Lacazette. But then Arsenal collapsed.

Lacazette went from hero to villain as he lost the ball on the edge of Arsenal’s box, and Halil Dervisoglu drilled home for 2-2.

And, Arsenal conceded a third from yet another mistake. This time another poor touch gifted Brentford the ball, and Shandon Baptiste pinged home a winner off the far post.
