The latest comments on the part of Newcastle United star Bruno Guimaraes will no doubt bring a collective smile to the faces of the club’s fanbase.
Midfielder Guimaraes of course saw his name take its place front and centre in the headlines on Tyneside earlier this evening.
This came owing to a match-winning performance on the part of the Brazilian international.
After being afforded his latest start in the middle of the park in the Magpies’ Premier League meeting with Leicester City, Guimaraes pulled his side level on the half-hour mark, slotting home from close range at the second time of asking:

The best, though, was yet to come, as the winter arrival on Tyneside sent the St. James’ Park faithful into delirium with a full 94 minutes on the clock, courtesy of a headed winner:

‘What a feeling’
And Guimaraes, still, was not quite done endearing himself to the Newcastle faithful on Sunday evening.
This comes with the former Olympique Lyonnais standout having appeared to confirm that he hopes to continue plying his trade at St. James’ for the foreseeable future.
Speaking to the media on the back of the full-time whistle, ‘Bruno G’ revealed his hope that he will go on to become a ‘legend’ in Newcastle’s colours, with his brace against Leicester ‘only the beginning’:
“I want to be a legend here… it’s only the beginning.
“It was incredible to score my first goal here.”

The midfielder has since taken to social media, too, to send a personal message to the Magpies’ fanbase:
