London Rockers We Are The Darts Release Long-Awaited Debut Album ‘Who Are You Again?’

London-based indie rock band We Are The Darts has finally released their highly anticipated debut album, Who Are You Again?, a 10-track collection that showcases the band’s six-year musical journey.

Featuring infectious riffs, soaring melodic choruses, and heartfelt storytelling, the album reflects a period of growth, youthful exploration, and a search for meaning. Frontman Brian describes Who Are You Again? as a sonic “lucky bag” of moods and emotions. “The album is about growing up, not settling for less, and dreaming of something bigger,” he explains. Each track reveals a different facet of the band’s evolving sound, from the energetic anthem ‘We Are’ to the introspective ‘Setting Sun’ and the emotive ‘Forgotten One’, showcasing the bands full sonic width and ability to venture into different spaces with their songwriting.

The album’s lead single ‘Open Letter’ stands out for its raw sincerity. Written on an out-of-tune guitar in a South African bedroom and later fine-tuned in a small East London flat, the song blends the spirit of youth with a reflective tone. Brian reflects on the track, saying, “It’s about love, exploration, immaturity, enthusiasm, passion, and cluelessness—everything that defines the whirlwind of youth.”

Recorded at The Ranch Production Studios in Southampton with producer Daly George, the album was born out of a desire to bottle the band’s creative growth and shared experiences. Despite being spread across different locations—Brian having relocated to Ireland—the band came together to produce an album that speaks to themes of hope, anger, love, and the yearning for something more.
