Does Wolves transfer business reveal Adama Traore deal is close?
Earlier in the window, it was revealed that Wolves would need to sell in order to spend, with Adama Traore high on their list of potential outgoings.

And, in this vein, Tottenham fans may have just been handed a major clue that a deal for the Spaniard is close.
This comes as Wolves have reportedly tabled a 30 million euro bid for Monaco defender Benoit Badiashile, suggesting that, by the above logic, they are on the verge of making a sale.
And with Traore the only man currently seriously linked with a move away from Molineux, could he be heading to north London this window?
“Ruthless” Conte willing to get rid of four players this January
As per a report by ESPN, there could be several outgoings from The Tottenham Hotspur stadium this month, with Spurs boss Antonio Conte reportedly ready to part ways with 5 first team players in January.
Dele Alli, Steven Bergwijn, Tanguy Ndombele and Matt Doherty are all thought to be free to depart the club should offers arise, while there is “uncertainty” over the futures of both Japhet Tanganga and Giovanni Lo Celso.
But, with six players now potentially out of favour at Tottenham, it seems unlikely that the club will be able to find homes for all of them this window, before even considering how difficult finding replacements midway through the season could be.
It may be a task for the summer.
Real Madrid join Tottenham in free-agent chase
To make matters worse, a deal for Franck Kessie could be in jeopardy.
Tottenham were thought to be among the front-runners for the soon-to-be free agent come the summer, with the Ivorian refusing a new deal at AC Milan and now entering the last six months of his contract.
But now, reports in Spain claim that both Barcelona and Real Madrid are interested in the engine room enigma, with Real Madrid having made a pre-emptive approach in an attempt to ensure he does not end up at the Camp Nou.
For Spurs, this spells bad news. Although they have the pull of Antonio Conte and probably European football (although which competition remains to be seen), they cannot match the pedigree of either Spanish club, and may see the Ivorian slip through their fingers.
