Viewers of this evening’s showdown between Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United, in particular those of a Lilywhites persuasion, have flooded to social media to react to the latest passing clinic put forth by Harry Kane.
Kane and Spurs are of course currently locked in action.
On the back of a bounce-back 2-0 downing of Brighton last time out, Antonio Conte’s troops have welcomed the aforementioned West Ham to north London, for a Premier League derby clash.
And, with 45 minutes on the clock at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the evening’s hosts are on course for a 2nd successive 3-point haul.
This comes with Conte and co. in possession of a 2-1 advantage, owing to a Kurt Zouma own goal, followed by Heung-min Son’s deflected finish a short time later.

‘Up there with KDB’
As alluded to above, though, despite having not managed to get himself on the scoresheet as of yet on Sunday, it is the name of another member of Spurs’ XI which has, to this point in proceedings, taken centre stage in the chatter surrounding the action in north London.
The player in question? Harry Kane.
English international Kane, as expected, was afforded his latest starting berth versus West Ham, leading the line between the aforementioned Son and Dejan Kulusevski.
And to say that Tottenham’s talisman has since gone on to prove the standout performer on the pitch would be putting it lightly.
Dropping deep into something of a false nine role, Kane has run proceedings courtesy of a wonderful combination of vision, timing and pinpoint passing.
All three such traits were on full display with 25 minutes on the clock, when the hitman split West Ham’s defence wide open to tee up his side’s 2nd:

In turn, viewers, admittedly largely of a Tottenham persuasion, have since taken to social media in their droves, to liken Kane to a player widely regarded as world football’s finest playmaker:
Harry Kane is a better passer of a football than Kevin de Bruyne.
This needs to become common knowledge.
