Roger Waters adds Mexico City to This Is Not A Drill 2020 tour
Palacio de los Deportes (https://www.brain-damage.co.uk/2020-tour-zone/october-7th-palacio-de-los-deportes-mexico-city-m.html), a venue which Roger is familiar with, having performed there on his recent, previous tours. The show will take place on October 7th, 2020 (https://www.brain-damage.co.uk/2020-tour-zone/october-7th-palacio-de-los-deportes-mexico-city-m.html), and tickets for this go on sale on Monday, February 10th at 11am CST, through this link at Ticketmaster.com.mx (https://www.ticketmaster.com.mx/promo/rhfagy). Roger’s upcoming tour is, as normal, shrouded in secrecy, but as the tour posters reveal it is a first for Roger as it is being presented in the round . This basically means that the stage is sat in the middle of the floor level of the venue, with the band and performance being aimed at those sat all around. This should also mean that most seats in the venue will have an excellent view! Should additional shows be announced for Mexico, or elsewhere, we will of course let you know as soon as we can!

Nick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets – Playing Pompeii!
dalessandroegalli.com (http://www.dalessandroegalli.com/events/769/nick-masons-saucerful-of-secrets). The Teatro Grande is thought to have been built in the second century BC, carved into the lava mass on which Pompeii was originally built. It was one of the first permanent stone theatres in the Roman empire, and used to seat around 5,000. It was preserved – as the rest of the site was – by the devastating volcanic eruption of Mount Vesuvius, and these days for events caters for around 3,000 audience members. Should be a magical place to see the band in action on their 2023 Echoes Tour (https://www.brain-damage.co.uk/nick-mason-s-sos-2023/index.php), which is also heading to Australia for a string of shows in September.

Nick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets – film premiere pictures
Last night, a significant chunk of you would have been at cinemas in various countries, watching the special presentation of Nick Mason's Saucerful Of Secrets Live At The Roundhouse. Followed by an exclusive Q A with the band, that was recorded a short while ago, reaction to the film (and the Q A) has been thoroughly positive.Brain Damage was at the world premiere on Monday evening, at London's Picturehouse Central, which included a nice introduction by Nick Mason before welcoming the rest of the band to join him in front of the screen. Pictures of this are below. For those who are yet to see the film (which is released on April 17th on Blu-ray, DVD, CD and 2LP, as well as digitally) we won't spoil things for you. Suffice it to say that a fantastic job has been done with the recording, and editing, of the Saucers' at the Roundhouse. Whilst some live albums and videos can be quite sterile, LATR has an involving and exciting feel to it. In places there are short interview segments, and these work well in the points of the show when the stage falls into darkness, and instruments are changed. The interview bits give good insight into the project, and only enhance things. You will NOT want to miss seeing this release…it has easily exceeded our hopes and expectations for the live recording.Just for some clarification, we went direct to Sony to check out the situation with region coding on the Blu-ray edition as there is still some confusion or misinformation about it. We have had confirmation from them that the Blu-ray has NO region coding at all, so will be playable worldwide, irrespective of where you purchase it from.ORDERING INFORMATION:You can order the various editions through the following direct links, taking advantage of Amazon's pre-order price guarantee so you will automatically pay the lowest asking price between placing your order, and release, whilst giving Brain Damage much needed help with running costs without costing you any extra.
