Ex-Chelsea defender has one word of admiration for Cesc Fabregas

Ever since January, Cesc Fabregas is no longer one of the Blues. Well, at least not on paper anyway as he joined Monaco on a free transfer upon the expiry of his contract with Chelsea.

But the Spaniard is still held in very high regard with most of the fans and players on the Blue side of London, unsurprising given he won five major trophies with the club.

The 32-year-old midfielder has now posted a snap on Instagram showing his new team returning back to work and he is already knee deep in training for the 2019-20 campaign. That, of course, prompted some other stars to reply.

Filipe Luis, formerly of Chelsea and Atletico Madrid (though his contract also expired at the beginning of July), found his way into Fabregas’ comment section and left just one word of admiration for him.

“Crack” or “craque” is a slang word often used among latin footballers to describe a really talented player, and Luis clearly thinks the world of Fabregas since he posted it with such enthusiasm.

Fabregas played a total of 13 games for Monaco in the 2018/19 Ligue 1 season, scoring once in the process.
