Could Eriksen remain in the Premier League
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has opened up on a number of subjects this week, including when he found acres of cannabis in a club owned warehouse.
Levy has been in charge of Spurs since 2001 and has overseen a transformation in recent years.
Tottenham have gone from mid-table hopefuls to Champions League finalists with one of the best stadiums in Europe.
However, it’s not always been easy and Levy has revealed a number of stories in his first interview this decade.

Tottenham’s unintentional cannabis farm
Back in 2003, Spurs moved to acquire land around White Hart Lane in hope of redeveloping the stadium.
Tottenham supposedly bought around 80 different properties, including one warehouse.
Unbeknownst to the club, someone broke into that warehouse and turned it into a cannabis factory!
“We discovered it had been bolted shut from the inside and when we finally got in we found three acres of cannabis growing in there,” explained Levy, as quoted by the Evening Standard.
Levy then revealed after the club thwarted the efforts of the drug farm, revenge attacks took place.
“We obviously had to call the police. The next thing we knew we were victims of a revenge attack when the water pipes on the properties we owned down the High Road were cut, which flooded them all.”
Levy opens door for Eriksen to Manchester United
Levy also spoke about Christian Eriksen’s future at Tottenham.
The midfielder’s contract expires next summer and could be sold in the coming window.
Manchester United have been heavily linked in recent months and Levy has now opened the door to a move by suggesting Spurs aren’t afraid to sell to their rivals.
“We are honestly not scared to trade with our rivals,” Levy explained.
“My view is really simple. For a player to sign a new contract, not only have the conditions got to be right but the player has got to want to do it. It is up to those players whether they want to stay at Tottenham and we’ll see.
“I don’t want to comment on individual players too much. I actually think it is unfair. Every circumstance is different. There may be a player who wants to stay, there may be a player we don’t want to stay.”
