Former Chelsea stalwart Eden Hazard could potentially be on his way back to his old stomping grounds at Stamford Bridge this summer if reports in AS are to be believed.

Big Money move blues
Hazard was once the toast of the town for the Blues in the Premier League after his arrival at the club from LOSC Lille in the summer of 2012.
The Belgian international went on to establish himself as the best winger in England and one of the finest attacking players in Europe, scoring 110-goals and adding 92-assists across a combined 352-appearances for the club; a direct contributions ratio of .57/match. He also helped Chelsea secure two Premier League titles, an FA Cup, and two Europa League wins.
But the face of Belgium’s golden generation has found life at Real Madrid impossible since his 115-million Euro move in the summer of 2019, and to date, has made just a combined 43-appearances in two seasons and has found the back of the net on only five occasions, with a further eight assists registered.
Hazard has done little to endear himself to the Madrisitas since his arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu. The left-winger has suffered a staggering nineteen separate injury issues in the last 24-months, and his wages in comparison with what he has contributed on the pitch since his high-profile transfer are certainly a point of contention.

It is also unclear whether or not there is scope for Chelsea to be in favour of the deal on paper. While Hazard undoubtedly still gets on with many that are still in the first-team squad, any deal made for the 111-times capped Red Devil would present an overload in attacking players.
Boss Thomas Tuchel at current can call upon Kai Havertz, Mason Mount, and Hakim Ziyech as central attacking figures, while the likes of Timo Werner, Christian Pulisic, and Callum Hudson-Odoi are all players that can feature on the left of a front three. Additionally, Chelsea continues to monitor the likes of Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland, and another former player in Inter’s Romelu Lukaku as they hunt for a big name centre-forward to help the club push forward in their challenge for Premier League honours in 2021-22.
There is little reason to expect Chelsea to seriously explore the idea of a Hazard return, especially given his current wage packet in the Spanish capital, but anything remains possible during silly season.
