Chelsea and Tottenham target Bournemouth’s Aaron Ramsdale – Mail

Goalkeeping reinforcement this summer

Chelsea and Tottenham could both reportedly move for Bournemouth goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale in the summer transfer window.

Both sides have had some goalkeeping problems this season.

Frank Lampard has had to deal with a loss in form from Kepa Arrizabalaga recently.

Willy Caballero was even brought into the team for a run of four games recently, before Kepa returned in goal against Everton.

Tottenham have had their own problems too.

Hugo Lloris has spent a good part of the current campaign out injured, with Paulo Gazzaniga hardly threatening him when he has been fit.

That’s even with Lloris’ recent dip in form, similar to Kepa’s.

Third choice goalkeeper Michel Vorm’s contract will expire at the end of the season too.

Now, both Chelsea and Tottenham are reportedly interested in Bournemouth’s Aaron Ramsdale.

Ramsdale a target for both Spurs and Chelsea

According to the Mail, both sides have placed Ramsdale on a list of goalkeeping targets.

They claim ‘The London rivals are both weighing up changes in their goalkeeping departments at the end of the season and have Bournemouth’s Ramsdale on their radars.’

Ramsdale has been very impressive with Bournemouth this season.

The 21-year-old Englishman has made the third-highest amount of saves in the Premier League.

According to the Mail’s report, Bournemouth ‘are determined’ to keep hold of the shot-stopper.

Though, Bournemouth are currently in the Premier League relegation zone.

Should the Cherries fall into the Championship, it would be very difficult for them to keep hold of Ramsdale.
