Joe Marler had a message for Exeter Director of Rugby Rob Baxter prior to Harlequins comfortable win in the Premiership at Twickenham.
Quins thrashed Chiefs 40-5 to win Big Game 14 to move up to fifth place in the Premiership.
Prior to the game, Baxter had said: “We’re not there for a party” when quizzed about the carnival atmosphere expected in South West London.
There is clearly no love lost between Baxter and the Quins man as Marler tweeted: “You miserable git…….. cheer up cheese tits!”
The prop went onto put in one of his finest performances, which included an audacious dummy that sent Exeter defenders flying.
One fan wrote: “He sent me the wrong way, and I’m at home on the sofa.”
While Exeter Chiefs official Twitter wrote: “You know things are bad for Chiefs when Joe Marler tries a dummy in midfield..”
