Adrian has spoken out of his ambition to be Jurgen Klopp’s first-choice as he considers himself a No.1 goalkeeper.
In an interview with The Telegraph he stated that his mindset isn’t to be happy sitting on the bench, but many Liverpool fans think it is a role he may have to accept.
Alisson returned to full fitness this week and looks set to start against Manchester United, a prospect many supporters are likely to be looking forward to for the trip to Old Trafford.
It is an unfortunate situation for Adrian, as he has performed well since coming into the side – conceding only six goals in eight league games – as well as proving the hero in the Super Cup penalty shootout, but Alisson is the best goalkeeper in Europe according to a UEFA award, and therefore is likely to be drafted straight back into the starting line-up.
And judging by the reactions to the Spaniard’s comments, that is certainly something the Anfield faithful want to see happen.
He should please go back to the bench. He has done well but Allison is our number1.

There is no decision, he was brought in as cover. Called in early than expected, the main man is fit again so he plays!

Don’t get above your station lad, you’ve done well but Alisson walks straight back in if fit

Adrian was brought as a backup for Allison, let’s keep it like that.

LMAO so he wants to be the usurper. Well he doesn’t have the presence at the back to be our long term number one but he is a damn good number 2

There’s no decision to be made
