South London-based British-Nigerian artist Azul Kechi returns with a vibrant new offering, ‘Nada Más Solo’, a track that further cements her status as a rising force in neo-soul and R&B.
Blending pop, R&B, soul, and jazz influences, Azul has captured the attention of national radio, press, and major DSP editorial playlists. ‘Nada Más Solo’ arrives just ahead of her eagerly awaited debut album, Celestial Love, set for release on March 14th. The single provides a taste of the authenticity and heartfelt storytelling that define the upcoming full project.
Azul’s journey has been propelled by acclaimed manager Keith Cooper (Outlaw Posse, Stereo MC’s, PM Dawn, Jungle Brothers, Aphrodite, and Finley Quaye). Drawing inspiration from icons like Amy Winehouse, Betty Davis, and Lauryn Hill, Azul Kechi carves out a distinctive sound that blends raw, live instrumentation with her smoky, half-sung, half-rapped vocal delivery. Her music weaves soul, pop, and R&B into compelling sonic landscapes, with Celestial Love promising deeply personal reflections on her own journey.
Speaking on ‘Nada Más Solo’, Azul shares: “The song is about embracing your individuality—letting go of external expectations and fully owning who you are. In creative industries, taking risks is essential. Sometimes, this means straying from the path others expect of you. ‘Nada Más Solo’ is about breaking free from those limitations, trusting your instincts, and forging your own way in life, independent and unapologetic.”
Azul has already earned praise from key tastemakers, including BBC Radio 6 Music and Jazz FM (B-List). As she builds her reputation as a live performer, Azul was handpicked to showcase her talent at Musexpo in Los Angeles, a premier global music industry forum for emerging artists.
With excitement mounting around her debut, Azul Kechi is poised to make a lasting impact with Celestial Love—a record that embodies her fearless artistry and unwavering sense of self.
