Heaton out for season
Aston Villa were dealt two huge injury blows at the beginning of 2020.
Villa would take on Burnley on January 1st and come away with a much-needed victory.
However, the Lions would also lose two of their key stars to injury vs the Clarets. Those players being Tom Heaton and Wesley.
Villa would then confirm that both Heaton and Wesley will miss the remainder of the 2019/20 campaign.

Heaton had been Villa’s number-one shot-stopper since signing for the club over the summer and losing him for the rest of the season will likely be a huge blow.
Reina to Villa
And with Heaton out of action, Villa have already been linked with a number of goalkeepers this January including Joe Hart and Pepe Reina.
Both Hart and Reina possess a vast amount of Premier League experience, something that Villa will likely need as they fight for survival in the English top-flight.
But it seems that the relegation-battling outfit have decided to pursue a move for the former Liverpool star, Reina.
Several reports have emerged over the last 24 hours from reliable sources such as Fabrizio Romano and John Percy of the Telegraph, stating that Reina will be joining Aston Villa on loan.
