Aaron Ramsey & Maurizio Sarri
Last season they were at rival London clubs Arsenal and Chelsea.
However, come the start of the 2019-20 season, Aaron Ramsey and Maurizio Sarri will be working together.
Ramsey has joined Juve on a free transfer this summer, after his contract at Arsenal expired.
The Welsh international spent 12 years with the Gunners.
By contrast, Sarri’s stay in the English capital only lasted 12 months.
On Sunday, Sarri’s move to Juve from Chelsea was finally confirmed.
Juventus: Two likely formations in 2019-20
On Monday, the Italian press have begun to consider how Juve may line-up next season.
Corriere dello Sport believe that Sarri is likely to use one of two formations in Turin.
The first is 4-3-3, while the alternative is 4-3-1-2.
To be clear, the formations promoted by Corriere dello Sport are only projections based on how Juve may act in the remainder of the summer transfer market.
For example, Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi is included in one line-up, while Lazio’s Sergej Milinković-Savić also appears in the possible Juve XI.
On Ramsey, what’s clear is that the Welsh midfielder is expected to start in Juve’s XI.
In the 4-3-3 formation, Ramsey could be deployed on the right-hand side of midfield.
In the 4-3-1-2 formation, Ramsey is deployed in a central attacking position behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Icardi.
Other points of note
Corriere dello Sport link Juventus to two Premier League defenders in their predicted formations.
One possible signing is Chelsea left-back Emerson, while Tottenham’s Kieran Trippier is also a possible Juve signing.
