Yet another development in the Raphinha transfer saga has emerged on Tuesday.
The Brazilian has been linked with several clubs this summer, with a brief summary of the saga so far below.
For several weeks, it was Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal who were the side most heavily linked with the Brazilian and, despite no deal being completed, it did look as though Raphinha was Emirates bound.
That was until mid-June when various reports emerged suggesting that Chelsea were close to agreeing a deal with Leeds for their star winger.
Then. despite Barcelona’s financial crisis, it was the Catalan powerhouse who were believed to be the winger’s first choice.
But, because of the monetary woes being faced by Barcelona, Leeds were understood to prefer Chelsea’s proposal, whilst the player himself wants to move to Spain.
Raphinha to Arsenal?
Now though, yet another update on the Raphinha front appears to have turned the tables back in Arsenal’s favour.
It has been reported that Chelsea have now turned their attention towards Burnley’s Maxwell Cornet after growing frustrated with Raphinha’s refusal to commit.
As for Barcelona, they are not close to agreeing a deal:

Could this leave the door open for Arsenal to swoop in?
