Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk this evening held a Twitter Q&A with his followers, with the Dutchman having opened up on a whole host of interesting topics.
Football grinds to a halt
The COVID-19 outbreak has of course brought football across the globe almost to a complete standstill.

Van Dijk opens up
With a widespread lockdown also in full effect, many players have attempted to maintain their connection with fans through the use of social media.
Recent days have seen the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Karim Benzema host question & answer sessions on Instagram, both of which have since garnered plenty of attention.
And, as outlined above, the latest household name to have handed his followers the opportunity to have their most burning questions answered is Virgil van Dijk.
Liverpool stalwart van Dijk this evening opened his Twitter account to a Q&A, with a host of interesting takeaways having stemmed from the exchange.
Perhaps the answer set to produce the most widespread attention on the part of van Dijk, though, saw the Dutchman name Barcelona star Lionel Messi as the most difficult opponent whom he has ever faced:
