Leicester fought back from a first-half deficit to secure a vital three points in their quest for Champions League qualification versus Brighton.
Brighton opened their account with the game’s first major opportunity through Adam Lallana.

A Leicester throw was quickly recovered by Brighton who fed the ball to Neal Maupay on the edge of the area.
The striker slipped Lallana in who had ghosted in between markers with the ex-Liverpool playmaker coolly slotting past Kasper Schmeichel to make it 1-0.
The Foxes were deploying a back three but none of the selected centre-halves appeared comfortable with the tactical change in the early going.
Leandro Trossard then found joy down the left flank, crafting a yard of space before looping a teasing cross into the centre. Maupay rose to meet the delivery but couldn’t make the required contact to trouble Schmeichel from close range.
Leicester finally settled and almost regained parity through youngster Sidnei Tavares.
Jamie Vardy chested Kelechi Iheanacho’s long ball into the path of the Portuguese who unleashed a fierce half-volley goalward. Brighton stopper Robert Sanchez showed great reflexes to tip the powerful drive round the post as Leicester awoke from their slumber late into the half.

The Foxes emerged with renewed vigour after the break and went level after a superb defence-splitting pass from Youri Tielemans.
The Belgian played set Iheanacho away who in turn did well to tuck his delayed effort beyond Sanchez into the top corner.
The impressive Tavares was replaced by Marc Albrighton as Rodgers shuffled his pack.
Both sides were seeking a winner but gave off the air of a pair who would settle for a point given recent results.
Lallana was handed an opportunity to put the Seagulls in front once more after Wilfred Ndidi surrendered possession in his own half.
A sweeping break resulted in Lallana striding onto the ball 18 yards out, but Schmeichel was equal to his effort at the cost of a corner.
Vardy finally sparked into life with five minutes to go and thought he’d won a penalty after being felled by Lewis Dunk.
VAR opted not to overturn the referee’s initial decision not to award a penalty, however, but Leicester would soon be celebrating moments later.
Robert Sanchez flapped at a corner allowing Daniel Amartey the simple task of nodding into the empty net at the far post to make it 2-1.
That would prove to be the game’s defining moment as time quickly ran out on any potential Brighton fightback.
