Transfer Rumours: Springbok duo set for shock move

World Cup winners Damian de Allende and RG Snyman are on the verge of signing for Guinness PRO14 side Munster next season, according to reports.

Both the Irish Times and Irish Independent are reporting that de Allende is on his way to Thomond Park in 2020, while the Irish Independent believe he will also be joined by RG Snyman.

De Allende will be unavailable for the Stormers until next May as he will be playing in Japan for the Panasonic Wild Knights. The Japanese Top League starts in January and runs through until May.

Meanwhile, Synman, a 24-year old lock, was also part of the World Cup winning squad in Japan, featuring in all seven matches at the tournament, including two starts.

He will also play out the rest of this season in Japan with Honda Heat before moving to Munster with de Allende next summer.
