Tottenham’s hopes of strengthening further under Antonio Conte have been dealt a major blow as Alasdair Gold, the Tottenham correspondent for Football.London, has suggested that no further incomings are expected.
The Lilywhites are expected to complete the double signing of Juventus’ Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur in the coming hours, becoming Antonio Conte’s first signings in charge in north London.

However, beyond that, it looks as though it could be a day focused on outgoings, with Gold reporting that ‘Spurs still monitoring for any late opportunities that arise but currently expected that the duo will be today’s only incomings’.

This will come as a blow to Tottenham fans, who know that their club have been chasing a wing-back for much of their transfer window, only for Adama Traore to opt for Barcelona rather than London, leaving Spurs high and dry.
Yet, bafflingly, they didn’t seem to have a backup, and now look to be ready to go into the remainder of their season with their current options, seemingly deemed unsuitable by Conte originally.
Who is leaving?
Meanwhile, departures continue: Bryan Gil and Tanguy Ndombele are expected to leave the club on loan in the coming hours.
Bryan Gil has arrived in Valencia to sign his contract, deal confirmed and set to be announced in the afternoon. Straight loan from Tottenham until June, no options included. ⚪️🦇 #Valencia #THFC

One man who won’t be leaving, however, is Steven Bergwijn, with the London Evening Standard now reporting that he will be staying put despite interest from Ajax.
Never say never, but it could be relatively quiet final few hours incoming-wise on Tottenham Hotspur way.
