The Tottenham Hotspur faithful have flooded to Twitter this evening, to make their feelings regarding a trio of stars to have started the club’s meeting with NS Mura crystal clear.
Kane at the treble
Nuno Espirito Santo’s men got their European campaign back underway a short time ago.
After slipping to a third successive Premier League defeat, at the hands of none other than Arsenal this past weekend, Spurs welcomed Slovenian outfit Mura to North London, eyeing a morale-boosting return to winning ways.
And, when the 90 minutes were said and done, this is precisely what the Lilywhites managed.
A dominant display ultimately culminated in a 5-1 result, as Tottenham made clear, despite their recent struggles, that they must be viewed as amongst the favourites to clinch the first-ever Europa Conference League title.
Dele Alli opened the scoring from the penalty spot early on, before Giovani Lo Celso set Nuno’s men well on their way to all three points with a 2nd inside the opening ten minutes.
And though Ziga Kous did his best to hand those inside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium a scare courtesy of a stunning Mura consolation, Harry Kane quickly went on to steal the show.
Introduced off the bench on the hour mark, Spurs’ talisman remarkably managed a hat-trick, to add some gloss to the final scoreline in the capital.

‘Found their level’
As outlined above, though, despite their side having steadied the ship to at least some degree, the club’s supporters have not been at all shy in dishing out the criticism on Thursday evening.
Taking to social media, the Spurs faithful have widely singled out a trio of players – in the form of Dele Alli, Harry Winks and Matt Doherty – as simply not good enough to garner regular game-time moving forward.
The oft-maligned trio again struggled throughout much of the action versus Mura, a fact which, when taking into consideration the standard of opposition, inevitably sparked a backlash online.
Check out some of the highlights below:
Found dele, winks and Doherty level. Also #NunoOut #GallardoIN

It’s a difficult balance, you can’t just bench him for a whole season then expect £10m+ in the transfer market. He’s found his level in the conference league, let him play there then hopefully him, Davies, Doherty, winks are all phases out of th club in the next 12-18 months.

1- final proof that Dele, Winks, Doherty, GLC, etc aren’t good enough for any level of football
2- the attendance says it all about how fans are feeling
3- Mura is a very poor team
4- in spite of the score, not many positives
5- Nuno needs to get his team right on Sunday! #THFC— LJ1882 (@lazqetjohnson) September 30, 2021
Dele, Doherty and winks genuinely don’t deserve to be premiership footballers! Outrageously bad!

If Dele, Doherty and Winks are all Spurs players at the start of next season I might just not bother

Winks, Dele, Le Celso and Doherty have found their levels! I’ve lost track of how many times carelessly that Dele has lost the ball, it’s unreal! And Le Celso, if the wind touches him, he falls over like he’s been shot! Doherty is possibly the worst RB I can remember! Winks… LOL

This game truly is the level of Doherty, Winks & Dele.

352 with no dele winks or Doherty in the team if nuno wants to survive

Shouldn’t feel this bitter and twisted after a 5-1 but Doherty, winks, Dele and in honesty Reggie and Nuno all do my skull in.
& Kane needs to score against team that aren’t bringing the harvest in next week.
