As part of the 50th anniversary celebrations for Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side Of The Moon, there was a competition running for any interested animators to come up with new videos for each of the tracks on the album. With judges including Nick Mason and Aubrey ‘Po’ Powell, Monty Python’s Terry Gilliam, Anton Corbijn, and Gerald Scarfe, the winning videos can be seen below. You might recall that last year, we brought you something a little different – a BD visitor had been in touch with details of a documentary he had put together on Pink Floyd’s 1970 album, Atom Heart Mother. Lee then followed up with another documentary, this time looking at Animals. He’s been busy again, and now takes a detailed look at 1972’s album, Obscured By Clouds. As with the previous documentaries, he treads some slightly different ground, and it is an interesting watch, with some interesting footage and pictures throughout:
