What has happened to Alexis Sanchez?
During his time at Arsenal, he was one of the best players in the Premier League, scoring 80 goals in 166 games for the north London outfit. Whilst the wages may have been high at Manchester United, it certainly seemed like a good deal for the Red Devils when he signed for them, especially considering they didn’t pay a transfer fee and simply sent Henrikh Mkhitaryan the other way.
Fast forward 20 months, though, and it looks like a shocking bit of business. In 45 games, the Chile international has scored just five times and he is yet to feature for the club this term.

It now looks like his nightmare at Old Trafford is about to come to an end, at least in the short term. It is being reported that the 30-year-old is close to a loan move to Internazionale.
As a former star for their club, Gunners fans have been quick to react to the development, and they have shared their thoughts on Twitter. You can see some of the best comments below.
Pampered superstar at @Arsenal. Absolutely adored him since his arrival. Hope he smashes it at Inter

As an @Arsenal fan, I’m glad that #Sanchez won’t be playing EPL football and I hope he never does. I know what that guy is capable of doing, he is a beast ??

Genuinely think Sanchez will be good for Inter under Conte. Sad decline though, was one of the best in the PL at one point.

May Alexis Sanchez flop in inter Milan more than he flopped in trafford. Arsenal was the only club that made him shine but funny he couldn’t see it.
