With the dust having settled on the second round of the Rugby World Cup, we have gone through the action and picked the standout players.
Scotland made a late push for inclusions and have two players named but it’s Japan, Wales and England dominating our line-up. Make sure to leave your comments at the bottom of the page with your own team.
Round 2 Team of the Week:
Stuart Hogg (Scotland) – Put in a clever kick to the corner and then slotted a class drop-goal from a quick line-out when Samoa exited. Joined the line well and was a silky operator from the back throughout.
Got to say – we don't mind Stuart Hogg showing off with an EPIC drop goal here. #AsOne#SCOvSAM #RWC2019https://t.co/h7agPhJJ37 pic.twitter.com/0fQoMwlHKP

Alapati Leiua (Samoa)
Jonathan Davies (Wales) –Lovely hands as ever in midfield, and as one of the key leaders an outstanding effort against Australia.
Kotaro Matsushima (Japan) –Has been one of the players of the tournament so far. Gifted and optimistic, and the firmest of crowd favourites
George Ford (England)
@EnglandRugby have made a powerful start against the USA

Gareth Davies (Wales) – Amazing intercept summed up a cheeky, box-office performance. Such a threat in attack – and even when defending, such is his propensity for pick-offs.
