Coutinho struggles at Barca
Ever since he left Liverpool for FC Barcelona, Philippe Coutinho has struggled to regain that form that made him one of the top players in the Premier League.
The Brazilian did recently put on some solid displays for Brazil as they won the 2019 Copa America.
However, when it comes to impressing for Barca, Coutinho seems to lose all confidence.
This past season saw the little magician score just five and assist two in 34 La Liga outings.
Coutinho’s future
After such a poor campaign, it has been rumoured that Coutinho could depart the Nou Camp this summer.
The arrival of Antoine Griezmann to Barca has also put a damper on Coutinho’s time in Spain as it is being reported that the Frenchman will wear the number seven shirt, which belonged to Coutinho last season.

Now, in an interview with the Telegraph, Coutinho’s agent has given a fresh update on his clients future.
Despite all the rumours about Coutinho’s exit, his agent claims Barca have told him that Coutinho will be staying put:
“I was told they have no intention of selling him, that Barcelona have not spoken to anyone and that stories to the contrary are simply not true.
“I will not let people talk about Philippe and put him down because for one-and-a-half years we have said nothing. I won’t let them do that and all of us in Philippe’s camp will not let that happen because Barcelona have told us he is staying.” As quoted by the Telegraph.
Mundo Deportivo also ran a story on Saturday, in which they claimed Barca haven’t received any concrete offers for Coutinho.
