The impressive summer window being enjoyed by Premier League newcomers Nottingham Forest could well be primed to continue, courtesy of yet another high-profile addition.
The powers that be at the City Ground, of course, have made waves by means of their business on the transfer front over the course of the last couple of months.
This comes with Steve Cooper’s troops evidently eager to make their presence back in the top-flight of English football for the first time in over two decades very much known.
To this point in the summer, Forest have added to the club’s squad courtesy of the signings of all of Taiwo Awoniyi, Neco Williams, Moussa Niakhate, Giulian Biancone, Omar Richards, Brandon Aguilera, Wayne Hennessey and Dean Henderson.
And, as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media on Monday is anything to go by, the Reds appear far from done.
As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Forest’s transfer chiefs have entered into primary discussions with their counterparts at La Liga outfit Real Betis.
This comes with Alex Moreno, amid an ongoing search for fresh blood at wing-back, having been identified as the latest potential addition to the club’s ranks.
The 29-year-old himself, meanwhile, is understood to be open to the prospect of a move to the City Ground, with talks between the parties, in turn, set to continue over the course of the coming week.
