England fans have taken to Twitter to criticise Chelsea prospect Callum Hudson-Odoi for his performance against Kosovo.
The 19-year-old winger was making just his third appearance for Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions, but didn’t really look as dangerous as we know he can be.
Hudson-Odoi is yet to score a goal for Chelsea this season, although he has grabbed four assists having started just three games across the Premier League and the Champions League.
Some nice touches and flashes of skill were on show from the teenager – who was the subject of a serious transfer pursuit from Bayern Munich last season and again back in the summer.
However, there wasn’t much substance to Hudson-Odoi’s play with a number of his attempted crosses finding a Kosovo player.
One supporter on Twitter compared the Blues academy graduate to Aaron Lennon, while another fan said that Hudson-Odoi looked “pathetic” out on the pitch.
Another added that the wide-man is the “most overrated player” they’ve seen in a while.
Let’s take a look at some more of the Twitter reaction…
Callum Hudson-Odoi got that contract at Chelsea and turned into Aaron Lennon.

Hudson-Odoi is such a bang average player, he has one good game and Chelsea fans think he’s the next coming of prime Messi

Hudson-Odoi reminds me of Neymar but Neymar playing with a blindfold on.
