Joey Maxwell has just dropped his debut single ‘going thru changes’ and it is probably best described as absolutely pure bliss.
Joey leads us on a path of believing this is a minimalistic production, then a saxophone comes out of nowhere and it’s an alt-pop bop which boasts infectious, uplifting synths that wouldn’t sound too out of place on a song from his fellow South-East London natives Oh Wonder.
An EP is on the horizon and we desperately can’t wait to hear more from this emerging artist.
