Brighton’s very own rising stars, Nature TV, return with their latest single ‘Aways It Goes’ (out Feb 19th)—a sun-drenched yet introspective indie cut taken from their highly anticipated debut album, Unlucky for Some, set for release on May 9th via Heist or Hit.
Landing just before the band embark on their first-ever US tour, ‘Aways It Goes’ arrives as Nature TV continue their upward trajectory, leading into what’s shaping up to be a landmark year. With a SXSW 2025 appearance on the horizon, the four-piece are proving why they’re one of the UK’s most exciting indie prospects.
Effortlessly fusing laid-back, sun-kissed melodies with a sophisticated neo-soul undercurrent, the track encapsulates the warmth and wistfulness that define Nature TV’s sound. Produced by long-time collaborator Solo Major, ‘Aways It Goes’ layers shimmering guitars, smooth basslines, and intricate yet restrained percussion to create a groove that feels both buoyant and reflective. The band’s signature melodic, easygoing charm is ever-present, with frontman Guy Bangham’s vocals floating effortlessly over the track’s lush instrumentation.
Speaking about the song’s themes, Guy explains:
“This track is all about reflection—having that internal dialogue about where life has taken you and how things might have turned out differently. Maybe if you’d held onto something a little longer, made a different decision, things could’ve changed. But at the end of the day, you’ve made your bed, and you’ve got to lie in it—it’s about making peace with that and moving forward.”
