Mexican third-tier outfit Tlaxcala FC have told Cristiano Ronaldo how “handsome” he would look in their new red kit.
The Coyotes made their flirty approach on Monday and mocked up an image of Ronaldo in their camo style kit accompanied with the caption: “Did you see how handsome you would look with the Coyotes, my commander @Cristiano Ronaldo?”
The ‘commander’ though has yet to respond, despite growing reports that he could move on from Juventus this summer.
France Football, Milan’s Radio Rossonera and more recently Foot Mercato have all claimed that Ronaldo could be heading to Paris after two years in Turin.
The French outlet claim Ronaldo’s agent has opened talks over a surprise transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.
Juventus’ elimination from the Champions League at the quarter-final stage for the second year in succession has not gone down well with Ronaldo.
Their away-goals defeat to Lyon saw Ronaldo left distraught on the pitch – around 16 months after Ajax dumped them out in 2019.
¿Ya viste qué guapo te verías con la de Coyotes, mi comandante @Cristiano Ronaldo? Pero, te fresas, dile a la @JuventusFCes que nos conteste el teléfono…

And that has lead to the 35-year-old “seriously questioning his future at Juventus” and his even prompted Jorge Mendes to hold talks with PSG sporting director Leonardo.
Earlier in the summer Ronaldo was linked with a Serie A exit to ease the financial burden on Juve due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Now the suggestions are that Ronaldo could look for a new challenge and PSG could be the perfect destination.
It’s a move which would surely get Nike’s approval. Indeed they would more than likely help facilitate the move due to their close links with the Portuguese star.
Nike dream
The American brand already pay him a staggering £147million to represent the brand, according to leaked contract details.
Der Spiegel’s latest Football Leaks reported that the Juventus forward signed a £14.7m 10-year deal with Nike in September 2016.
Still they would jump at the chance of Ronaldo joining up with their other two premier soccer stars – Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.
From a marketing and brand-building standpoint that would be a dream come true. And as highsnobiety point out Nike would be able to use all three for a mega in-house marketing campaign.
PSG would also benefit from Ronaldo’s celebrity status.
The Portuguese star is the most-followed person on Instagram with 235 million followers and he has a huge following in China.
That is a market that PSG are trying to crack and with Ronaldo on board that would become much easier.
