Will Matic remain at Old Trafford?
Manchester United have rejected two bids for midfielder Nemanja Matic, while the Red Devils have also being offered the chance to sign Bruno Fernandes.
It’s not been a great start to the season for United.
The Red Devils have been very inconsistent with their performances in the current campaign.
Their latest disappointment came at the hands of rivals Manchester City, where they lost 3-1 at Old Trafford.
It’s also been a poor start to the season for midfielder Matic.
Despite featuring heavily in previous seasons, the Serbian has only played 11 times in all competitions during this campaign.
Now, Manchester United are fending off interest for Matic in the transfer market.

Manchester United reject Inter Milan & Atletico Madrid bids
According to Duncan Castles in the Daily Record, Manchester United have rejected two bids for Matic.
Those two bids supposedly come from Serie A side Inter Milan and Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid.
He claims: ‘Manchester United have rejected offers from Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan for their unsettled Serbia international Nemanja Matic as the English Premier League club looks to reshape an underperforming midfield in the current transfer window.’
Matic previously played under Antonio Conte during their time at Chelsea, where they won the Premier League title together.
Atletico, meanwhile, had supposedly proposed a swap deal which would see Hector Herrera move to Old Trafford, but it was rejected.
Manchester United offered chance to sign Bruno Fernandes
One player who could solve Manchester United’s problems in midfield is Bruno Fernandes.
Now, also according to Duncan Castles, Manchester United have once again been offered the player.
It’s claimed: ‘Sporting value the Portugal international at €70million, having rejected a series of close-season offers from Tottenham Hotspur for their most important player.’
Castles even claims one source told him Manchester United could make a formal move for Fernandes ‘inside a week’.
