Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes sheds light on Erik ten Hag’s training

Bruno Fernandes has been speaking about the Manchester United training experience under Erik ten Hag.

Ten Hag was appointed Man United manager back in April and is facing a pretty huge task.

The Red Devils are coming off the back of a season which saw them notch their lowest-ever points total in Premier League history.

The Manchester outfit also have a depleted squad after a number of players saw their contracts expire in June.

And, as has become the norm, Manchester United’s transfer business is pretty slow.

So, if Ten Hag is to stand any chance of competing with the best teams in the Premier League, it will be down to his tactics/training.

Now, as mentioned above, Fernandes has shared some details of what it is like to train under the former Ajax boss:

“No, it’s been pretty intense,” Bruno said. “He likes intense training, reactions when you lose the ball. He likes everyone to run.

“He’s been really good. Everyone is enjoying [it], obviously. Everyone gets really tired at the end of the training but that’s what we have to do.

“We have to be like that at the end of the training, but then you know the training was really good.

“As I said, we have to do the hard work because, if we do it now, then we will be fit for the beginning of the season.

“We all know the first games of the season are strange, but we want to be the ones that will be winning.

“We have to do the maximum that we can and what the coach and all the staff ask us to do.”
