We’ve identified four players we believe could take Harlequins from mid-table mediocracy to Gallagher Premiership title contenders.
So far Quins have only confirmed the arrival of South African duo Andre Esterhuizen and Wilco Louw for next season.
Meanwhile, Chris Robshaw, Kyle Sinckler (Bristol Bears) and Nick Auterac have already announced they’re leaving Twickenham Stoop this summer.
Here are four reinforcements that would improve the Quins squad.
1. Jimmy Gopperth
This summer he turns 37 and Ryan Mills, also an inside centre, has been recruited by Wasps from Worcester Warriors as his probable replacement. Quins have a number of exciting young playmakers, but Gopperth would bring on-field leadership, a wealth of experience, and accurate placekicking.
