Leeds star Gjanni Alioski looks increasingly likely to leave Elland Road at the end of the season amid reports talks over a new deal have failed to reach an agreement.
The versatile 29-year-old is a big fans favourite at Elland Road, having arrived from Lugano in a £2.25m deal in summer 2017.
But with his four-year deal expiring in the summer, talks over an extension have failed. As such, Football Insider reports that Alioski has asked his agent to actively find him a new club for next season.
They claim Alioski’s agent has held a number of talks with Leeds at various intervals over recent months. However, with no agreement reached, the left-sided star looks certain to move on as a free agent.
The news will come as a huge blow for Marcelo Bielsa, who has come to rely more and more on the North Macedonian. Alioski has featured in 23 Premier League games this season. His energetic displays, as well as his ability to play in a number of roles down the left, have seen him win favour with Bielsa.
The left-sided star is unlikely to be short of admirers. Reports back in January claimed Galatasaray were among those said to be keen.
However, it’s not clear if Alioski will make the controversial move to Turkey. As such, Football Insider claims the player has told his agent to sound out potential suitors.

Alioski ‘would love to stay at Leeds’
Earlier this season, Alioski spoke of his desire to agree an extension at Leeds.
He told BBC West Yorkshire Sport: “Still nothing has happened. I am here, of course, until my contract ends next year.
“But I am not thinking that I will leave Leeds. My head is only for Leeds, concentrated. But what will happen will happen in the end.
“Of course I would love to stay here, but these are things for other people to manage. I want to enjoy only the moment I am here. I want to be focused on the football.
“Other things, of course, I see in the media, but nothing has happened still. I am here every day serious, enjoying every day in Leeds.”
Were he to leave, it will only increase speculation that Leeds will look to bring in a specialist left-back this summer. Alioski has shared the role with Northern Ireland midfielder Stuart Dallas so far this season.
