Manchester United journalist Andy Mitten believes that Jude Bellingham would be open to a move to the club because of the players he could work with at Old Trafford, per the Talk of the Devils podcast (March 11th, 16:20).
What’s the word?
United have been heavily linked with a move for the Birmingham City youngster.
Indeed, BBC Sport reported earlier this week that the 16-year-old has visited the club’s training ground as the Red Devils look to beat Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund to the teenager’s signature.
The Sun have reported that Birmingham value Bellingham at £50m.
He has had a breakthrough season at St Andrew’s, making 35 senior appearances, scoring four goals and registering three assists; he has also been capped at U15, U16, and U17 level by England.

And Mitten believes he would jump at the chance to move to Old Trafford.
He said: “I think United’s a good fit for him. Wayne Rooney arrived when he was 18 years old, Cristiano Ronaldo, you’re going to be looked after at United.
“They’re a very stable football club, and it looks like it’s one that is improving.
“If I was a young player I’d want to play with Aaron Wan-Bissaka or Marcus Rashford or the young players United are identifying. I’d look at Bruno Fernandes and think I’d love to play with him.”
Bias
This doesn’t really stack up when Dortmund are the other club touted with an interest.
Yes, United have a number of good young players and Fernandes is an excellent playmaker, but the Bundesliga giants are just that, giants.
While United’s last four league finishes have seen them end the season anywhere from sixth to second, Dortmund have never finished below fourth.
They also have the likes of Marco Reus, Jadon Sancho, Erling Haaland, Mats Hummels, and Thorgan Hazard at the club. One has to think that Bellingham would quite like to play with them too.
Add into that the fact that Dortmund are currently second in the Bundesliga, four points behind Bayern and one gets a clearer picture; for clarity, United are fifth in the Premier League, 37 points behind Manchester City.
Mitten, a United fan, has got this one wrong.
Meanwhile, United fans have reacted to links with two more English youngsters!
