Some great news for those who haven’t yet seen the excellent documentary film, Have You Got It Yet? The Story of Syd Barrett and Pink Floyd – it is getting a UK television broadcast on the Sky Arts channel next Saturday (April 27th). They also note that there will be an Italian TV screening at some point soon. In their post about it, those behind the documentary reveal that Blu-ray and DVD masters have been approved, and the discs are in the process of being pressed up now. Hopefully there will be an announcement of the physical release of this unmissable look at Syd and the Floyd, soon. Here’s a quick taster of the film:

Delicate Sound of Thunder – in cinemas October 15th, one night only!
Just announced – Pink Floyd: Delicate Sound of Thunder will be shown in cinemas for the first time on October 15th. You can experience the restored, remixed and re-edited film of the 1988 New York performance in your nearest participating cinema. Those of you who have seen the new version via the Later Years box set will know what an incredible job has been done with this, so a great opportunity to see it on a large screen, with a great sound system (including Dolby Atmos at participating cinemas).
