Well, it would be fair to say that the Everton fans were not exactly delighted with what they saw from Gylfi Sigurdsson on Saturday afternoon.
According to WhoScored, the Iceland international only boasted a pass success rate of 72% as he struggled to influence matters in the number 10 position.
The afternoon belonged to Norwich City as the Canaries recorded a 2-0 victory courtesy of goals from Todd Cantwell and Dennis Srbeny.
Sigurdsson has really struggled to make an impact this season, scoring once and providing just one assist in the Premier League.
And a number of Everton supporters have taken to social media to criticise the 30-year-old, who actually found the back of the net on 13 occasions in the Premier League during the 2018/19 campaign.

With the Toffees down in 15th position in the Premier League, it would be fair to say that emotions are running high at the moment.

Don’t ever wanna see schneiderlin or Sigurdsson in an Everton shirt again. We spent 75 million pound on them 🤢 this clubs a mess

It showed badly yesterday that Sigurdsson slows the game down too much. Soon as it’s played into him he plays the way he’s facing. Atleast Iwobi wants to turn and go forwards and look to make things happen

Replace Sigurdsson, Cenk and Schneiderlin with Iwobi, DCL/Kean and Baningime yesterday and we wouldn’t have lost that.

Rumour has it that Gylfi Sigurdsson stayed on the pitch with a ball after the match yesterday. He said he won’t come off until he’s created a chance. The club have told his family not to expect him home for Christmas. Next year.

Gylfi Sigurdsson, Morgan Schneiderlain and Cenk Tosun should never player for Everton ever again either. Absolute crabs the 3 of them.
