England international George Kruis has played his final game for Panasonic Wild Knights today as he rounded off his illustrious rugby career
He led the celebrations as the Japanese side triumphed to secure a sixth domestic trophy in as many years.
The 32-year-old was capped 45 times by England and played in the 2019 World Cup final, while he won one British and Irish Lions Test cap in 2017.
He also won four Premiership and three Champions Cup titles in 11 years with Saracens, making 185 club appearances before heading to Japan.
Despite numerous offers to return to the Gallagher Premiership, Kruis will now switch fully to his sports nutrition company, Fourfive, which he set up with former Saracens team-mate Dominic Day in 2018.
The company said in a statement: “All of us at fourfive can’t wait to have George with us in the office full-time as we continue on our mission to help people lead healthier, happier lives through the power of CBD and Vitamin supplements.
“We’ve got big plans for the rest of 2022 and plenty for George to get his teeth into.”
